Challenge
Create a mHealth high-fidelity mobile app prototype that is fully navigable with interactions with in-depth user research and documentation of the entire research project.
Goal
Create and design FitPal, a mHealth app that enables workout tracking, logging, and functions as a social media app. It is meant to foster community engagement through a public forum and connect users. Overall, this app aims to help users gain exercise advice and guidance from users, as well as gain motivation and support from others in the community.
Role
Researcher and Visual UX Designer.
Deliverables
Identifying user needs and pain points, user personas, user stories, user journey maps, empathy maps, problem statements with solutions, a design stylesheet, sketched wireframes, low-fidelity designs, an interactive high-fidelity prototype, a mockup showcasing designs, walkthrough videos communicating design interactions, promotional app video and a presentation documenting the entire design process.
